GHC German Health Care GmbH becomes part of the internationally positioned Asker Healthcare Group. By joining the Group, the company strengthens its foundation to be well positioned for the increasing requirements in the medical device industry over the long term and in a sustainable manner. This is particularly relevant in the HomeCare market, where delivery reliability, security of supply, service quality, and regulatory standards are critical. Becoming part of an internationally positioned corporate group provides additional resources for quality, development, and supply capability. For customers and partners, the contacts, products, and processes will remain as usual.
“The requirements for manufacturers and providers continue to rise – from regulatory requirements to supply capability. By joining an internationally positioned group, we gain additional stability and room to manoeuvre to continue serving our customers reliably, strengthen our delivery reliability, and further develop our structures in a targeted way,” says Björn Pörksen, Managing Director of GHC German Health Care GmbH.
“Since GHC was founded, we have seen steady development and are now a leading provider in the field of continence care. The Integration into the Asker Group is another step for us in expanding our market position and safeguarding delivery reliability,” emphasizes GHC founder and Managing Director Kay Kruse.
MPF Medicalprodukte Vertrieb Flensburg GmbH, GHC’s sister company, is also becoming part of the Asker Group. Both companies, GHC German Health Care GmbH and MPF Medicalprodukte Vertrieb Flensburg GmbH, were founded by Dirk Dohmann and Kay Kruse.
GHC and MPF will remain strictly separate in their respective market presence. GHC will continue to operate as an importer and supplier for customers throughout Germany and in other European countries. MPF will remain an independent provider of patient consultation and care, with existing contracts with health insurance funds, as well as supplying medical practices with consultation supplies. The existing supply relationship between the two companies will remain one of many and does not create any special role or preferential treatment compared with other GHC customers.
Data protection and confidentiality
Confidential customer and pricing information of GHC as well as patient-related data of MPF are processed exclusively for the intended purpose within the respective company. Both organisations remain separate in customer handling.
What will not change
- Independent brands and separate customer communication
- Unchanged points of contact and established delivery processes
- Existing contractual relationships remain with the respective legal entity
- No special role or preferential treatment in the supply relationship
