GHC relies on fact-checking.

We stand by it: The reliability of information is our top priority. Especially in the medical field, we consider scientific and fact-based education to be of utmost importance—and you can rely on that.

That’s why we remain committed to our responsibility:

✅ We continue to verify all sources before sharing information with you.

✅ We stand for open and honest communication on important health topics.

✅ We support pages and profiles that actively combat discrimination and stigmatization while fostering dialogue on sensitive issues.

The reason we find it important to reaffirm our position is META’s decision to discontinue its so-called “fact-checking” process—although this does not (yet) affect the EU.

Instagram and Facebook are valuable platforms for us to encourage open dialogue, provide education, and help break the taboo around health and incontinence. At the same time, these platforms create space for exchange and mutual support, which is something we deeply care about. We want to reach, inspire, and empower people.

We will continue to critically evaluate information and question sources and content. Together, we can break down prejudices and strengthen an open approach to health challenges.
