CARE FLUSH - 0.9% sodium chloride solution

The flush syringes supplied in blister packs are intended exclusively for flushing in situ peripheral intravenous catheters (PIVCs), peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs), central venous catheters (CVCs), and port catheters. They contain a sterile, pyrogen-free 0.9% sodium chloride solution without preservatives.

Each syringe has a fill volume of 10 ml. The sodium chloride concentration is 9 mg/ml. The ready-to-use flush syringe supports efficient use and reduces the effort required for the manual preparation of syringes with saline solution.

The flushing system has been designed for flushing vascular access devices. The appropriate flushing volume should be selected according to the type and size of the catheter, the medications used, and patient-specific factors. This can help maintain catheter patency and reduce the risk of interactions with medications.

The flush syringes are not manufactured using latex, PVC, or DEHP.
