For patients with challenging urine status, we now offer a silicone catheter with a flute tip (article number 01/01/07/xx). The slanted, centrally open tip means that even gritty or flaky urine can be drained easily without clogging the drainage eyes. This also makes it suitable for enteral-fed users.
The balloon catheter with silicone flute tip can be ordered from stock in sizes CH 12 to 22 with a balloon volume of between 10 and 30 ml.
