Transurethral catheter - Product description
The CareFlow 2-way integral balloon catheter is made of 100% silicone and designed to have a short Nelaton tip, which ensures that this balloon catheter is well suitable for patients that are more sensitive.
The silicone catheter captivates through its high patient comfort and is equipped with an the integral-technology, in which the balloon is incorporated into the shaft.
This catheter is also designed to allow for radiological imaging of the catheter, due to its integrated X-ray line. The catheter can even remain in the body during a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), because the high-quality silicone material is MRI-compatible and thus no additional catheter change is necessary.
To block the balloon, we recommend using our blocker syringe with a 10% glycerine solution, to ensure that the balloon stays within the bladder over the wearing period. The catheter is supplied with a catheter plug.
The balloon catheter can be used for long-term drainage.
