The transurethral Care Flow 2-way balloon catheter with flute tip is made of 100% high-quality silicone.
The flute tip of the silicone catheter enables drainage on a patient with critical urine findings, such as for example enterally fed patients. Through the central opening of the catheter tip, urine can be drained from the bladder without the risk of clogging of the lateral drainage eyes on the catheter.
Our Care Flow silicone catheters are equipped with an integrated X-ray contrast strip, which allows radiological visualisation of the balloon catheter. In addition, the catheters must not be removed during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); resupply is not necessary because the high-quality silicone material is MRI-compatible.
To block the catheter balloon, we recommend using our blocker syringe with a 10% glycerine solution.
The catheters are suitable for long-term drainage.
